Operations Research has a peculiar fate — its methods underpin almost every corner of modern society: airline scheduling, logistics networks, chip design, ad auctions, financial risk management… yet its name is barely known. Most textbooks either drown in proofs or toy with unrealistic examples, leaving a wide gap between theory and engineering practice.

I want every article here to be: theoretically traceable, intuitively graspable, and practically runnable. Writing is also a workout for thinking — you only truly understand an algorithm when you can explain it clearly to someone else.
